{20.2.17} Pajama Style

When I found this gorgeous pajama style top on sale in Zara, I could have jumped for joy.
I've been on the hunt for a pajama style shirt for ages now, and this one was absolutely perfect! There's just something so beautiful and alluring about pajama style shirts... I think they can look so classy when paired with the right outfit.
For this look, I decided to keep the outfit to the bare minimum; wearing some plain skinny jeans and some slip on patent loafers.
I adore this outfit!

{17.2.17} Simplicity

My everyday summer wear usually includes some sort of denim shorts and a light, breathable top. In other words...this outfit
Although it's quite a simple outfit, I obviously had to include my favorite trend.. an off the shoulder blouse.
I paired it with my dark wash vintage Levi's shorts and threw on a pair of black, buckled sandals.
To complete the look, I decided to wear my necktie, it's one of my favorite accessories to wear!

{13.2.17} Chunky Cardigan

When a chilly day suddenly blew in over Joburg, I knew it was the perfect time to throw on this gorgeous chunky knit
It's such a great wardrobe staple. Not only can you wear it layered over something light in summer, but it's perfect for winter too.
I paired it with my ripped t- shirt (love!!) and my faded boyfriend jeans. I absolutely love this relaxed look!

{6.2.17} Trumpet Sleeves

Flared sleeves, bells sleeves, trumpet name it! The rise of the sleeve has become one of the biggest trends lately, and I couldn't be happier! (as you can probably tell from my latest posts too!) :)
I found this particular top hidden amongst a few t-shirts whilst browsing Mr.Price. I grabbed it quickly, tried it on, and fell in love.
How pretty are the sleeves? I think it adds something unique to an otherwise classic white shirt.
I decided to pair it with my dark wash denim skirt, to give it a bit more of casual feel.
I finished off with some black loafers, which I think completed the look perfectly.

{1.2.17} Flared Sleeves

This gorgeous blouse has definitely been one of my favorite pieces this summer!
I instantly fell in love with the amazing flared sleeves... perhaps it's better to say I'm OBSESSED with it!
I decided to pair it with my light wash vintage Levis, and to add to the androgynous look, I threw on my black brogues.. they're my favorite brogues in my closet.
I absolutely love this look. It's simple and minimal, but it's classic too..which I love!

{25.1.17} Blush Pink Bell Sleeved Sweater

Blush pink has always been one of my favorite colors!
This sweater, which is more of a toned down version, is absolutely gorgeous. I love the fact that it's so lightweight, making it perfect for a cool summer's day.
The texture is also really lovely - although it's ribbed, it's extremely soft, which is always a plus in my eyes.  I'm also completely obsessed with the bell sleeves, I think it gives the knit an interesting look, which I adore!
I paired it with my high waisted frayed jeans, and my blush pink Vans. I think it was a perfect outfit for a relaxing summer's day out.

{23.1.17} Baseball

Lately I've been in  love with baseball caps! I find them so easy to throw on when I'm in a hurry, or when I want to add a little extra 'oomph' to an outfit...they're such a great accessory! (They're also pretty good for the sun haha)
Another thing I'm in love with, which I think is pretty evident from my outfit posts, are baseball/bomber jackets. This gorgeous two toned baseball jacket is perfect for summer, it's just so light and thin.
I decided to pair it with my frayed black shorts, a ribbed grey tee, and my Isabel Marant slides. I think it made for a great effortless look!
